The first leg of our journey took us to Whidbey Island for the Summer Institute for Spiritual Formation. Beautiful setting, beautiful people, beautiful time.

Family picture near the ferry dock on Friday Island.We are now in the rather quirky Forks, Washington. This is the gateway to the Hoh temperate rainforest and... the setting of the Twilight series. Yes. And we did the tour. We even ran into the Cullens (okay, we were taking a photo of their mailbox) and got autographs and pics with them, so we'll post those soon.
